Warren Hospital Auxiliary donates $40,000 to Foundation
June — The Warren Hospital Auxiliary recently presented the Warren Hospital Foundation with a $40,000 donation. Dorothy Smith, newly-elected president of the Auxiliary, presented the check to Thomas Litz, president and CEO. The funds will be used to purchase medical equipment for the hospital.
The Warren Hospital Auxiliary raises funds through a number of projects including the hospital’s Wishing Well gift shop. The organization also receives proceeds from the hospital’s coffee shop and from fundraisers held throughout the year.
The Auxiliary’s 2009-10 officers are: Dorothy Smith, president; Diana Dunlap, vice president; Sally Simpson, treasurer; Jean Willever, assistant treasurer; and Gloria Kardos, recording secretary.
The Auxiliary’s donations over the years have helped to fund many projects for the hospital.
