St. Luke’s Nurse Residency Program seeks to educate, inform and empower new nurses and provide them with the skills, confidence and resources to excel in their careers.
The program lasts one year and consists of monthly didactic experiences with extensive simulation and expert instruction, as well as individual mentoring provided by a nurse preceptor. Residents will also complete an evidence-based research project. Nurses who apply for a specific RN position at St. Luke’s and have less than six months of experience as a nurse will automatically be included in the Nurse Residency Program.
